4,000 mm Kraft Paper, Testliner and Fluting Paper Machine Project in Vietnam
Project Overview
This project was completed for a paper mill in Vietnam to produce kraft paper, testliner, fluting paper, and other grades of packaging paper.
The paper machine has a trimmed paper width of 4,000 mm, a design speed of 550 m/min, and a production capacity of approximately 350 tons of finished paper per day.
Successfully commissioned in 2019, the production line has been operating reliably in continuous industrial production for more than seven years.

Technical Features
A twin-wire forming configuration was selected for this project to ensure stable sheet formation when producing medium- and high-basis-weight packaging paper.
The paper machine is equipped with a dilution-control headbox, a large polyurethane-covered press roll, an enclosed dryer hood, a ropeless sheet threading system, and a Distributed Control System (DCS) for process control.
To improve operating efficiency, the production line also includes:
A reel with a parent roll storage system
An online dryer fabric cleaning system
An underfeed rewinder
A finished roll weighing and packaging system
A Quality Control System (QCS) can also be supplied according to specific project requirements.
Raw Materials
The production line is designed to process various types of fibrous raw materials, including:
Old Corrugated Containers (OCC)
Recycled fibers
Market pulp
Blended fiber furnishes
This flexibility allows the paper mill to adjust its pulp furnish according to finished paper quality requirements and the availability of raw materials.
Operating Results
Since commissioning, the production line has maintained stable packaging paper production and reliable operation for more than seven years.
