The 3200mm Coated White Paperboard Making Machine is designed for producing coated white paperboard and high-quality linerboard for printing and packaging applications.
Featuring a four-ply Fourdrinier forming system and two-stage on-machine coating, the production line combines flexible fiber utilization with consistent paperboard quality.

Four independent air-cushion headboxes and Fourdrinier forming sections allow different fiber furnishes to be used in each layer, balancing surface quality, paperboard strength and raw material costs.
A four-roll, three-nip press arrangement incorporating a shoe press improves mechanical dewatering. The dryer section includes 36 cast-iron cylinders, each 1,800 mm in diameter, with sectional steam control and a semi-enclosed hood.
The integrated coating system includes:
Air-knife pre-coating: 15–22 g/m²
Blade top-coating: 12–18 g/m²
A dedicated hot-air drying system supports coating performance and surface quality.
A two-roll calender improves paperboard smoothness for printing and packaging conversion. The finished web is collected at the reel section for further processing.
Independent variable-frequency drives coordinate the major machine sections. The Distributed Control System (DCS) and online Quality Control System (QCS) support process monitoring and control of basis weight, moisture and caliper.
The machine can process recycled paper pulp and market wood pulp, with different fiber blends selected for individual paperboard layers.
